The coffee bar serves a full espresso and cappuccino offering, as well as warm pressed Panini, salads, and Sant Ambroeus’ beloved desserts, pastries and croissants, including Sant Ambroeus’ signature chocolate mousse cake and Gianduia. Afternoon and evening hours offer a menu of delectable cocktails and wines by the glass.

Situated within the Sotheby’s World Headquarters, the coffee bar honors the aesthetic of Italian coffee bars in
the 1950’s, the walls and columns of the café are clad in rich mahogany paneling with delicate fluted details.  The floors are inspired by geometric patterns of Gio Ponti, in deep chocolate brown, cream and pale pink marble. Custom Murano glass pendants adorn the bar and vintage leaf-shaped sconces illuminate the wood columns. The elegant and distinctive design creates a unique atmosphere for diners that celebrates the harmonious relationship
between art and food.
